BWMC Offers Free Health Fair and Flu Shots

GLEN BURNIE, MD - Baltimore Washington Medical Center and The Community Center in Severna Park are sponsoring a free health fair and free flu shots on Friday, November 14 from 2 to 6 p.m. Health screenings including foot, blood pressure and neck and back will be offered. Educational displays from the Joslin Diabetes Center, Tate Cancer Center, Anne Arundel County Department of Aging and Big Vanilla Athletic Club will also be offered. From 2 to 4 p.m., BWMC physician Eugenia Robertson will be available to answer general health questions and offer suggestions about staying healthy during the upcoming flu season. Flu shots will be given on a first come, first serve basis to community members ages 18 and older.

The health fair will be held at the Severna Park Community Center, located at 623 Baltimore Annapolis Blvd. in Severna Park. All screenings and flu vaccines are free. For more information, contact the medical center's Marketing and Communications Department at 410-787-4367.
