Test Drive the Future of Surgery at Arundel Mills

GLEN BURNIE, MD - Baltimore Washington Medical Center and Intuitive Surgical invite members of the community to test drive the future of surgery with the da VinciÒ Surgical System on Saturday, October 10 from 4 to 8 p.m. and Sunday, October 11 from 12 to 5 p.m. in front of the BWMC Outreach Center in Neighborhood 4 at Arundel Mills Mall, located at 7000 Arundel Mills Circle in Hanover. Visitors will have the unique opportunity to sit behind the controls of this surgical system that provides patients a minimally invasive robotic option to treat disease. BWMC physicians and staff will be on-hand to answer questions about the da VinciÒ S HD^" System, which integrates 3D high definition endoscopy and state-of-the-art robotic technology to virtually extend the surgeon's eye and hands into the surgical field. BWMC Surgeons use the system for gynecologic and urologic procedures.

This event is free and reservations are not requested. The medical center's outreach center at Arundel Mills is located between mall entrance #4 and Dave and Buster's.
