BWMC Offers Breast Cancer Support GroupSeptember 08, 2009 GLEN BURNIE, MD - The Tate Cancer Center at Baltimore Washington Medical Center is offering a bi-monthly education and support program for breast cancer. Surviving Breast Cancer is offered from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. on the first and third Tuesday of each month in the Tate Center Conference Room located on the first floor. Dates for 2009 include: September 15, October 6, October 20, November 3, November 17, December 1, December and December 15. Facilitated by Debbie Russell, RN, nurse coordinator of the breast center at Baltimore Washington Medical Center, the program provides a comfortable and confidential setting to openly discuss and share common experiences and problems related to being a newly diagnosed breast cancer patient.
